TORRES ESPIC S.L.U. was created out of a merger of two companies with extensive trajectories in the sector of flexible PU transformation and production: Poliuretanos Torres S.L. and Espic S.A. In 1973, Mr Manuel Torres, current president of the company, founded Poliuretanos Torres S.L., specialising in the Transformation Flexible Polyurethane Foam for the upholstery sector. Subsequently, and due to the company’s important standing in the sector, Espic, S.A. was set up in 1982, mainly specialising in the production of Flexible PU. At the end of the 90s, both companies began an important process of renewal and adaptation to the needs of the sector, and this was the main basis point for the merger between both companies, thus leading to the creation of TORRES ESPIC S.L.U.
Located in the industrial zone of Picassent (Valencia), the company covers an area of 50,000 m2, of which 30,000 m2 are used for production. As an important benchmark in its sector, there is a significant degree of automatization in all of the production processes of TORRES ESPIC, and the aim of this is always to offer cutting-edge technology while searching for efficiency.
